The National Science Museum is home to scientific exhibitions and activities aimed at educating visitors on technological developments and the basics of science. The exhibits are aimed at educating and informing visitors, who will in turn put their newfound knowledge to use and aid in the sustainable development of the Kingdom.

Inside, fun-filled displays inform and entertain. The first floor contains a photo gallery, scientific works and a gigantic model of the earth. On the second floor is a life-like reconstruction of an Australopithecus fossil nicknamed Lucy by the scientific community, as well as displays on space travel. Other floors hold even more fascinating exhibits: the geography and geology of Thailand, for instance; human anatomy; and even a natural science museum.

The National Science Museum is located in TambonKhlongHok, within the compound of the Technopolis Complex, 4 kilometers from the intersection of the Rangsit-NakhonNayok Road. To get there, take air-conditioned bus No. 1155, Rangsit-Future Park-Science Museum Line.

It is open from Tuesday-Friday 9.30 am-4.00 pm and from 9.30 am-5.00 pm on weekends and public holidays. It is closed on Mondays. The entry fee is 60 baht. For more information, please call 0 2577 9999 or visit www.nsm.or.th.
