The water of Sumrongkeate waterfall originates from Kuntung mountain within Bantad mountain range. It is a medium-sized waterfall which flows downwards a 8 meters high cliff. The prominent characteristic of this waterfall is that the upper section of it is a stream that flows through rock field, creating beautiful sceneries especially in rainy season. 

As for the atmosphere of the waterfall, it is surrounded by various plants, large and small. This makes the place suitable for relaxing activities such as picnicking, swimming, and taking photos of beautiful scenarios around the waterfall.

Like many other waterfalls in Thailand, the water volume of Sumrongkeate waterfall peaks from September-February annually. Travelers are recommended to visit during this time.

Travelling there: From Sidaket’s town center, drive along the Highway 2111. When you reach Khunhan district, there will be a crossroad and one of the road leads to the waterfall. Drive along this road for about 20 kilometers and you will reach the waterfall.
