WatPhinitthammsasan is known for its ancient Wihan, or image hall, which was constructed in the late Ayutthaya period. In addition, the large seated Buddha image within the temple is also widely respected, made of plaster in the posture of subduing Mara, with a lap width of approximately 12 meters.
WatPhinitthammasan is located on the east bank of Chao Phraya River in Tambon Bang Plakot. To get there, take Ang Thong – Pa Mok – Ayutthaya and turn into the temple at Km 15.
The temple is open daily from 8.00 am-5.00 pm.
