Baansuan Ceramic

Lampang Province is very well-known for ceramic products, such as the bowls with a chicken pattern. In the beginning, there were only ceramics plates and bowls. At present, the ceramic production has been developed into more patterns and becomes an important business in Lampang Province, including “Baansuan Ceramic” where different shapes and colors of chinaware are kept.

Inside Baansuan Ceramic, there is an atmosphere of lawns and spectacular wooden houses in Lanna style. The house is decorated with various types of chinaware, which are both the appliances and decoration; for example, plates, bowls, vases, pots, trays, animal dolls, mobiles, jars, tubs, and lamps. Besides, there are special sets of appliances, such as chinaware for bathroom decoration, tea sets, tea pots, and tub sets with overflowing water pattern.

The ceramics which are used for decorating the place are not only for show, but also for sale for those who are interested in buying any pieces of them. It is obvious that the decoration of this place can be such a perfect way to attract the visitors. For those who are interested in ceramic production, please contact Mr. Methee Kosum, tel. 0-5433-6957 and 08-1883-6356, in advance to see the process of ceramic production.

As for the direction to Baansuan Lampang, the visitors can take Lampang- Bangkok road from the city center. Before reaching the highway police station, take the road along the irrigation canal. At the junction, turn left and go straight to Khelang Bridge and Wat Ban Mor Som, then turn left. There will be a green road sign on the right side. Continuing for only 100 meters, the visitors will arrive at Baansuan Lampang. Those who are interested in seeing the wares can visit www.baansuanceramic.com or contact via email methee02@gmail.com.
