Catagorize: Temple
Contact: Amphoe Na Klang, Nong Bua Lam Phu Tel. -

Besides being a great place to practice meditation, this temple is also home to a “replica” of Lord Buddha’s footprint and eight groups of boundary stones, set in the eight compass directions.

Each group comprises four stone tablets, some with carvings of the Bhotisattva and pagoda crest. These stones likely indicate places around Khmer shrines, like those at the temple of Wat Si Khun Mueang .

The temple is 30 kilometers from Nonbua Lampu town. Take Highway No. 210 (Nongbua Lampu - Loei) and turn left at Amphoe Na Klang. It is 1.5 kilometers from the turn-off.
