Nongkhai is not only a province which is famous for many tourist attractions, but also food. Nam Nueang (wrap of pork and vegetables with spicy sauce) is a famous local food of Nongkhai province.

Here, bamboo trays are seen with Krayo pastry being sun-dried along the roadsides. Krayo pastry is used for Vietnamese food such as Popia (spring rolls) and Naem Nueang (wrap of pork and vegetables with spicy sauce).

Visitors will see the process of Krayo Pastry which is not so simple as it seems.  When driving along the road from Nong Song Hong to Tha Bo district, you will also see the wood for making Krayo Pastry laid along the road.
